18V battery packs

The 18 V packs. Tabless cells are the ones worth understanding: current leaves the cell by many paths rather than one, so internal resistance and heat both drop — longer runtime and shorter charging on machines that work hard, at the same price as the HighPower packs they replace. Capacity follows the work: a compact 4.0 Ah keeps a drill balanced overhead, an 8.0 Ah sustains what a saw or extractor pulls.
