Solid carbide end-cutting groove cutters from 3 to 12 mm, 8 mm shank. Solid carbide rather than a tipped body, so small diameters stay stiff — a 3 mm tipped cutter would have almost no core left. These are the ones for fine grooves, inlay work and slots in hardwood and board, where a steel cutter of the same size would deflect or blunt within a few metres.
