Pre-separator

A pre-separator sits between the tool and the extractor and takes the bulk out of the airstream before it reaches the filter. It works by spinning the air in a cyclone: heavy particles are thrown against the wall and drop into a container, and only the fine remainder goes on to the machine. It catches up to about 80% of mineral dust and up to 95% of coarse debris like sawdust. That keeps the main filter clear, so suction stays up, and it means bulk waste fills a cheap collection container rather than filter bags. On demolition, floor preparation or anything producing volume, it pays for itself quickly. Retrofits to the larger CT machines and docks to them via the Systainer connection.
