Accessories for jigsaws

The accessories that decide what a jigsaw can actually do well. Splinter guards close the gap around the blade so the top face doesn't break out; base runners protect a finished surface from the metal base and reduce friction. Circle cutters pivot the saw around a centre point for cut-outs — the honest way to cut a round hole rather than following a pencil line. Parallel fences handle repeat cuts off an edge, guide rail adapters put the saw on the rail system for long straight cuts, and the angle table sets bevels. Between them they cover most of the reasons people give up on jigsaws.
